Donna Corbett
Executive Director
Donna
E. Corbett represents the meaning of selflessness and giving. Several
years ago, she started her own company, Amazing Grace Etiquette, to
provide innovative etiquette education to adults and children throughout
the Triangle area. In the twenty-first century, it would normally
appear that etiquette is often forgotten and ignored; however, Ms.
Corbett has overwhelmingly convinced countless parents, school systems,
businesses and community-based organizations that etiquette education is
essential to the social development of youth and adults. With over a
decade of experience in the etiquette education and modeling arenas,
success in her growing business venture was inevitable.
She has partnered with a
number of organizations to provide quality instruction to children and
youth. In 2005, she collaborated with the North Carolina State
University School of Management graduate students to conduct a study
that determined the effectiveness and demand of etiquette courses among
parents of school-age children. Programs such as the City of Raleigh
Parks and Recreation, Wake Technical Community College, L.L. Reid
Learning Center and Wake County Public Schools have sought Amazing Grace
Etiquette’s instruction for youth.
Although her professional
background includes twenty years in Corporate America, Ms. Corbett has
embraced her calling to be a powerful force in her contribution to the
Triangle community.
Her aspirations are
countless, in terms of the success of her agency to provide quality
etiquette, image and social development instruction to all populations
seeking resources to make positive changes in their lives.
